About Me
Our
Story
Karuna Canine Behaviour was created to support dogs struggling with behavioural issues- whether that be foreign rescues adjusting to a new life, adolescent dogs wrestling with fear and frustration, or anxious hounds overwhelmed by their environment. Whilst we offer support for all sorts of problems, we specialise in the areas of anxiety, aggression and reactivity. We pride ourselves on our indepth, multi-faceted approach to ensure lasting, positive behaviour change.
Jasmin Mason, Owner and Head Behaviour Consultant, intended to create a supportive community whereby owners can find a ‘safe space’ to work on their dogs behaviour without judgement. Our compassionate approach ensures that owners receive nothing but constructive guidance, encouragement and empathy. When you begin working with us, we become a team. We work through challenges together, and equally, celebrate every win together! This compassion is not limited to the owners- and our modern, science-based approach prioritises the wellbeing of your dog. Our positive techniques help to build motivation, foster good behaviour and improve relationship- all without the use of outdated, punitive methods.

Jasmins’ interest in aggression, anxiety and reactivity stemmed from rehabilitating two of her own dogs; Bear, an eight year old German Shepherd and Mila, a three year old rescue Belgian Malinois. Both struggled with reactivity and Mila in particular came with a whole host of behavioural issues and not a single bit of training! This has provided her with a unique insight into rehabilitation, and bucket loads of empathy for those working through similar issues.
Jasmin hosts a wealth of practical experience, having worked in the industry for a number of years. This experience has been perfectly complimented by her range of theoretical knowledge and qualifications. Jasmin is an accredited trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, a Pro-Dog Trainer and a Fear Free Accredited trainer. She is dedicated to her work and regularly completes CPD to ensure she’s continually building on her knowledge.
